Original British Victorian P-1847 Royal Dragoon Trooper's Cavalry Helmet with Black Plume - Crimean War Era Vietnam with the code M7/13Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice example of a Royal Dragoon Trooper's Cavalry helmet, known as the Pattern of 1847. It consists of a white metal bowl with brass adornments with a chained leather backed chin strap, leather helmet liner and black Horse Hair plume to top. The center of the helmet badge shows the initials V. R. for VICTORIA REGINA. The various attachments and fittings are most elaborate. This is exactly what the
